The CONTEC platform pedal ´´Black22´´ is optimally designed for these requirements: The one-piece aluminium body offers a large contact area and high torsional stiffness with a total weight of both pedals of 420 g. The sturdy axle made of high-quality CrMo steel with the typical 9/16´´ thread also contributes to the stability and long service life of the pedal. Smooth-running, sealed cartridge bearings ensure supple pedalling and good acceleration. The CONTEC platform pedal ´´Black22´´ can also be tuned to individual needs on and off the road by means of removable reflectors and replaceable pins (R-pins) and can be used for a long time without any compromises. Lost or worn pins can easily be replaced with new single or different coloured R-pins made of aluminium or steel, which are screwed into the respective threads with the appropriate spanner.
