When lighting a diptyque candle for the first time, allow it to burn for at least one hour to liquefy the entire surface of the wax and avoid the formation of a crater. Trim the wick regularly to avoid soot deposits on the glass. After extinguishing and shortening, center the wick so that the candle always burns evenly.
