EHEIM Undergravel Filter.
Two different undergravel filters, which work on either the reverse flow principle or the suction principle.
Reverse flow principle:
The filtered water is drawn up through the gravel floor and the floating particles of dirt are then drawn into the inlet area of the filter.
Suction principle:
The suction principle works the opposite way round, operating like an additional panel filter.
It is particularly suitable for salt water aquariums and tanks without plants.
