In a light and airy material and a relaxed shift silhouette, the Gap Tencel Dress is a casual warm-weather piece perfect for weekend outings. But the classic polo-style neckline sets it apart from other shirt dresses, giving it some extra structure and formality in case you want to incorporate it into a work look (the collar will look great peeking out from under a cardigan or blazer). Cut from breathable, moisture-wicking Tencel in a lightweight fabrication, this short-sleeved dress features a fold over collar and a covered front placket with branded buttons. The dress is finished with a pleated back yoke, short side slits, and a single breast pocket. It is made from 100% Tencel, also known as Lyocell, which is a type of Rayon with great absorption and breathability, making it airier than cotton, with a better ability to wick moisture. That means that not only is this dress great for warm temps, it’s also eco-conscious, as Tencel requires less energy and water to produce than conventional cotton.
