This universally tinted physical sunscreen defends against UVA/UVB rays, while providing a hydrated, luminous complexion for all skin tones. Zinc Oxide protects skin from pre-mature aging, Pink Rock Rose and Ginger Root Extract hydrate and soothe, while the universal tint ensures optimal blendability. Sun exposure accelerates skin aging, and every skin type requires a sun-blocking agent even if burning is not an issue. UVA/UVB exposure induces inflammation and free radical damage, which destroys healthy collagen and elastin, resulting in wrinkles, dehydrated skin, age spots and rough, leathery texture. - In addition to sun exposure, skin can be negatively impacted by High Energy Visible (HEV) light, a type of blue light, typically emitted from fluorescent and LED lighting, smart phones, computers monitors and tablets. Blue light can generate free radicals, induce inflammation, and play a role in pigment disorders., which is why protecting skin from blue light is imperative.
