The Pirelli Cycl-e XT feels at home on rocky gravel paths, soft and sandy forest paths as well as on cobblestone or asphalt roads in the city.
Featuring a diagonal high-profile tread, the Crossterrain promises safety and fun in any situation and any weather.
It is the perfect e-bike tyre for fast travel and touring bikes.
Of course, it may also be used for city riding, when also regularly riding on unpaved roads.
Apart from V-shaped grooves on the centre tread to reduce rolling resistance, the fine notches in the diagonal tread of the side Cap tread promise high grip.
Tread structure and low-profile shoulder lugs promise high safety during sudden changes in road position on soft ground, as well as excellent traction and cornering stability.
The latter is also thanks to a special double material technology (Cap & Base), where the rubber compound base layer supports riding safety and puncture resistance, while the Cap contact area provides enhanced rolling efficiency with lots of grip in dry and wet conditions.
